My story
Writing poetry has always been my superpower. As a child, jotting down thoughts in books, desks, journals and random sheets of paper was a joy and a little secret of mine. Over the years, I engaged myself in writing for college magazines but never actually ventured on it as a profession. But as destiny would have it, I became a doctor. Being one allows me an insight into people and their lives, a million stories, experiences ,ideologies and beliefs. It is a river of inspiration that never runs dry. As many of us can fathom, while running the marathon of my busy life with doctoring and being a mom, writing got harder in space and time but then an opportunity from Book leaf publishing came knocking at the door and i opened it .I am glad I did !! and my first book of poems "Cracks on the wall" has been published .
I believe that even though this is a beginning, the journey took seed a long time ago and surely, it is not the end either. The writer ,human being that I am will evolve and change with time and the journey will continue nevertheless.
